PULAO
Hey folks, my apologies for the delay – college life's a rollercoaster with assignments and exams. But here I am, back with another awesome recipe for all you rice enthusiasts: the delectable Pulao! It is super easy to whip up, with no need for fancy ingredients, and it pairs perfectly with sabzi, curd, chutney or even enjoyed on its own. Plus, it's not just a burst of colours; it's a healthy treat packed with veggies. Now, let's dive into the recipe – because who can resist a plateful of yummy Pulao? 🍚
Equipment
A Cooker
Ingredients
- 2-3 tsp Ghee
- 1 tbsp Jeera
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli
- 1/3 tsp garam masala
- Rice 1 small bowl (Katori) (wash and soak this rice in water for 10 min before cooking)
- Mix Vegetable
- 1 &1/2 Water
Instructions
1. Put the cooker on the stove with medium heat.
2. Add 2-3 tsp of Ghee when the base gets slightly warm.
3. When the Ghee heats up a little, no add 1 tbsp of cumin seeds( Jeera)
4. Now stir it and roast the Jeera till it turns brown
5. Add 1 tsp salt
6. Then 1/2 tsp of Red chilli and 1/3 tsp of Garam Masala.
7. Add rice.
8. Add 1 small bowl of mixed vegetables (you like).
9. Mix it all well
10. Add 1&1/2 small bowl of water and stir it well (check the salt by checking whether the water is salty enough)(add more if needed).
11. Now, put the lid on and let it cook on high flame when 1 one whistle comes close to the stove and set the cooker aside.
12. Wait until the steam settles, then open the lid.
